Rachel’s Senior Portraits by Durango Photographers

Rachel is an outgoing, fun, beautiful girl who will be graduating from high school next spring and plans to study engineering in her home state of Missouri. Her and her family love to visit southwest Colorado to do some 4-wheeling and site seeing. Durango and Silverton are two of their favorite places, so they searched for Durango Photographers and hired us to take their daughter’s portraits. I always feel honored when they choose me and my husband. My husband, Ken, loves to go 4-wheeling also, so him and Rachel’s dad (also named Ken) had lots to talk about.

Right now she attends Festus Senior High, and plays volleyball and runs on the track team. She’s in the National Honor Society and the Book Club. So she’s not only beautiful, but smart as well. Her hobbies include snowboarding, art, tubing, and jeeping. Backpacking across Europe is on her bucket list. She’s very fond of chai tea (as am I), hence the photo of her reading and drinking tea. Two of my favorite things!

Her biggest accomplishment so far is Duke TIP (Talent Identification Program). I had never heard of this, but it’s a program for gifted students who are then provided with advanced educational opportunities. This girl is going to go far in life (of course, she also wants to travel).

Thanks for taking a look at her senior portraits.

Hey there superb website! Does running a blog like this require a great deal of work?

I’ve very little understanding of programming but
I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyways, if you have any recommendations or tips for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off subject however I just needed to ask.
    Thanks!

Thank you for the compliment on my site. I try to blog around once a week. Some experts recommend more (like 2xs per week), but I just can’t come up with enough to post about that often. I don’t even always come up with enough info for a once a week post. It’s recommended that you post things like “how to” because that gets more followers, but I’ve covered all of that and there’s just not a lot more I can post on the subject. It’s pretty easy to set up a blog on WordPress. Hope that helps.
